CINEMA | "Monstros Fantásticos e Onde Encontrá-los" vai ser trilogia

Monstros Fantásticos e Onde Encontrá-los (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them) vai ser o primeiro filme de uma trilogia. Quem o revelou foi a própria J. K. Rowling, na sua conta de Twitter, em resposta a um comentário. 

Monstros Fantásticos e Onde Encontrá-los tem estreia marcada para 18 de novembro e conta com uma mistura explosiva de intervenientes que prometem fazer dele um sucesso: Eddie Redmayne, o vencedor do Óscar de Melhor Actor Principal em 2015 com A Teoria de Tudo e nomeado em 2016 com A Rapariga Dinamarquesa, será o protagonista; David Yates, o realizador; e a própria J. K. Rowling guionista e produtora. 

Mas esta boa noticia trouxe uma confirmação péssima. A autora esclareceu o que já sabíamos: que Harry Potter and the Cursed Child é uma peça de teatro (que escreve com Jack Thorne e John Tiffany) e não filme. 

Quanto a mim, continuo a ter esperança numa adaptação cinematográfica. 

Não de imediato é certo (até porque esta trilogia já vai encher os cinemas por muito tempo)... mas um dia!

De qualquer forma, já é muuuuito bom saber que dentro em breve teremos um novo livro nas mãos!

Vem aí o oitavo livro da série mais amada de sempre - Harry Potter!

Aquela que seria "só" uma peça de teatro, com estreia já marcada para 30 de Julho deste ano, em Londres, vai se tornar livro. Tal como a peça de teatro, o livro será dividido em duas partes, mas presentes no mesmo volume.

A história continua onde nos deixou no sétimo volume da saga, com um Harry Potter adulto, funcionário no Ministério de Magia e pai de três filhos. Harry "lida com um passado que se recusa a ficar no lugar ao qual pertence".

"Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts I & II" by Jack Thorne is a play based on an original story by J.K. Rowling, Thorne and John Tiffany that follows Harry as an employee of the Ministry of Magic, husband and father of three kids, the youngest of whom, Albus, struggles with the "weight of a family legacy he never wanted," the statement said. "We are thrilled to publish 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' this summer", podia ler-se ainda no press release da editora Scholastic lançado hoje. 

O livro será lançado a 31 de Julho, dia de aniversário de Harry Potter, mas há mais:

«"The special edition of the book -- dubbed the "Special Rehearsal Edition" -- contains the early script of the play's preview period, during which changes to the script can be made. A "Definitive Collector’s Edition" featuring the final script will be released at a later date.»

Quanto a vocês não sei, mas eu não caibo em mim de contentamento.

James Sirius Potter: em Hogwarts, a história repete-se!

James Sirius Potter, filho de Ginny Weasley e Harry Potter, atravessou ontem a plataforma 9 ¾ e embarcou em direcção a Hogwarts. 

A informação foi revelada por J. K. Rowling, na sua conta de Twitter. 

Mais tarde a escritora trazia novidades do Chapéu Seleccionador: Slytherin ou Gryffindor?

Pois é. Parece que a história se repete. Tal pai, tal filho. 

Para aumentar ainda mais a emoção destas revelações, a Estação King’s Cross, em Londres, revolveu fazer uma surpresa e homenagear os fãs: o destino Hogwarts apareceu no painel dos próximos embarques.
