Vem aí o oitavo livro da série mais amada de sempre - Harry Potter!
Aquela que seria "só" uma peça de teatro, com estreia já marcada para 30 de Julho deste ano, em Londres, vai se tornar livro. Tal como a peça de teatro, o livro será dividido em duas partes, mas presentes no mesmo volume.
A história continua onde nos deixou no sétimo volume da saga, com um Harry Potter adulto, funcionário no Ministério de Magia e pai de três filhos. Harry "lida com um passado que se recusa a ficar no lugar ao qual pertence".
"Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts I & II" by Jack Thorne is a play based on an original story by J.K. Rowling, Thorne and John Tiffany that follows Harry as an employee of the Ministry of Magic, husband and father of three kids, the youngest of whom, Albus, struggles with the "weight of a family legacy he never wanted," the statement said. "We are thrilled to publish 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' this summer", podia ler-se ainda no press release da editora Scholastic lançado hoje.
O livro será lançado a 31 de Julho, dia de aniversário de Harry Potter, mas há mais:
«"The special edition of the book -- dubbed the "Special Rehearsal Edition" -- contains the early script of the play's preview period, during which changes to the script can be made. A "Definitive Collector’s Edition" featuring the final script will be released at a later date.»
